Lead With Your Heart

I think we spend to much time leading with our head!

We waste energy trying to figure out the pros and cons; trying to understand the consequences that may come; worrying what others will say; and more importantly how we will look.

For a brief moment today, I ask you to consider a different approach. For just a moment or two today:

  • Stop worrying about what the pros and cons are;
  • Stop trying to analyze every angle;
  • Stop worrying about what others may say or think;
  • Stop worrying about how you’ll look.

For the next hour, lead with your heart.

For the next hour, listen with your heart.

For the next hour, be present in the moment.

    I read your post on my BlackBerry this morning. Trying hard to lead with my heart today. Thanks for the inspiration.

    I find, at least in my life, that leading with the heart is a challenging thing to do. When we do, the possibilities are endless and the conversations that come to life are second to none!
